Use PuTTY for secure file transfer

For connecting to a server that requires a secure telnet or FTP client, UITS previously recommended SSH Secure Shell for Windows users. Because that product is no longer free to download, UITS now recommends PuTTY.

Get ahead with IT training

With more than 80 topics, STEPS workshops (most of which are free to enrolled students) take place throughout the semester.
