Progress on IU’s new wireless network

The IU Secure wireless upgrade is progressing nicely and on schedule. The replacement of existing wireless access points should wrap up by mid-July. UITS will then begin expanding coverage, particularly on the Bloomington campus.

Oncourse CL upgrade

This weekend, UITS will be upgrading Oncourse CL to version 2.5, which features many enhancements. Due to the upgrade, Oncourse CL will be unavailable from 10pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.

Weather disaster impacts IU’s research computing systems

IU Bloomington has faced a series of severe weather events that started June 4 and extended to June 15, causing repeated failures in the electrical power infrastructure. UITS technical staff are working around the clock to restore the availability of IU's research systems.
